As I explored Flickr, I chose the keyword "Flowers" because I love capturing pictures of flowers in all sorts of views and angles... it's beautiful! Exploring Flickr was super easy and fun. It was hard to choose just a couple of pictures.I found a photo uploaded by 'JamesMarie2009' that was taken at the Chicago Botanical Gardens. This view of a poppy field is just breathtaking.

I also found another image that literally made me gasp out loud when I saw it. It is so pretty and happens to be my favorite color (purple). This photo was uploaded by 'chrisk8800.' The description written under the photo says, "Fresh flowers packed in a box at a flowershop in Copenhagen." I love that it is a top view.http://www.flickr.com/photos/26081675@N06/3932059093/
I love the pictures. Every year I take a picture of a flower or bud around my house from each season. Sometimes it's from a green bush that, in spring only, has white flowers. A tree, that in the winter, has little red berries, or just whatever's in the pots on my porch. Oneday I'm going to create some photo frames of each season around my house.
ReplyDeleteWow! those are some very lively colors. That is one thing so very interesting about Flickr is the types of photos that you can find. I think this could come in handy while teaching history and geography to show students what places in other countries look like and then they could search for themselves.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the flowers are breathtaking. How did you feel about the flicker exercise? I haven't used it before and am a bit nervous. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteLisa, don't be nervous. It is really easy. I'm sure you will have fun looking at all the different types of pictures out there. Just pick one topic that you know you will find something you like and go from there.
ReplyDeleteThose are very pretty! I am not into gardening a whole lot, but I like my little flower garden I have. I love flowers, I just do not love the weeding.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of the flowers you put up! They are so pretty. I love to plant flowers around our house in the spring. I love the bright colors. It's amazing how something so small can make you so happy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. They are awesome! I love flowers too even though I am a guy but...I agree with Lisa, they are breathtaking.
